The Earliest Days

This was taken on a trip to Martha’s Vineyard.  There was an icegrandpa and Corinne cream shop we stopped at for refreshments on which I think was the hottest day of the year.  There really was not a carousel, just a part of one here and there in the shop.  I watched Corinne while the others waited in line to get our orders.  Service is not the same as it is on the mainland, but worth the time during a vacation day.  For a little kid she held up well   We enjoyed the ice cream treats and moved on to see other parts of the tourists area that we had not seen yet.  I would not mind going back someday, but it would not be the same with this little girl being eight now.  She goes on her own trips and rarely invites me along.  Friends and more friends, who knew she would be so popular?  I am glad she gets around, just worried some times that it is too much and not enough attention to what needs to be done.  Well what do you want for a grandfathers view.
